Hailed by us as being the best Fitbit for beginners, we were impressed with the Fitbit Inspire 3’s ability to provide core health and fitness tracking tools, all housed in a sleek and slimline band.
These tools include automatic sleep monitoring, an optical heart rate sensor and even the ability to measure blood oxygen levels too.
Otherwise, the Inspire 3 includes additional fitness features such as daily step counts and even sports tracking too. In fact, you can track the likes of walks, runs and pool swims to determine how your metrics contribute to your weekly exercise goal.
We found this approach is brilliant at making “tracking exercise a less daunting affair”, so if you’re a beginner to the world of wearables, this is undeniably an appealing option.
Tracking tools aside, it’s worth pointing out that smartwatch features on the Inspire 3 are somewhat limited, with no Google Pay support, smart assistant or apps. Even so, you can view notifications, set alarms and reminders plus enable do not disturb modes to prevent notifications coming through on your watch.
We awarded the Fitbit Inspire 3 with a four-star rating, and our reviewer concluded that although “it might not give you the full package of smarts” compared to more expensive Fitbit wearables, “the Inspire 3 manages to pack in most of the good stuff that make it a great health, fitness and sleep tracking companion”.
