OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 15, its most ambitious flagship yet – and by the looks of it, this could be the phone to beat in 2026.

It’s a two-generation leap in performance, design, and AI smarts according to OnePlus, fusing the very latest in high-performance capability with the brand’s signature “fast and smooth” philosophy.

At the heart of the new device is a triple-chip architecture powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It’s joined by a dedicated touch response chip for 3200Hz instant touch sampling and an independent Wi-Fi chip to keep connections strong even in busy areas. Together, the setup promises the kind of ultra-responsive performance mobile gamers and multitaskers will appreciate.

To keep that power cool, the phone introduces the 360 Cryo-Velocity Cooling System, built with aerospace-grade materials like aerogel and white graphite. And on the front, there’s a 165Hz LTPO display at 1.5K resolution, capable of hitting 1,800 nits brightness outdoors or dimming to just 1 nit at night. It’s also TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 5.0–certified, striking a balance between performance and comfort.

Under the hood sits a massive 7,300mAh Silicon NanoStack battery, which supports 120W SUPERVOOC fast charging in just 39 minutes, as well as 50W wireless charging. OnePlus claims that it should retain over 80% of its health even after four years, and it’ll continue to function in freezing temperatures down to –20°C.

Moreover, the OnePlus 15’s triple 50MP camera setup is headlined by a new DetailMax Engine, which enhances clarity, colour, and dynamic range. There’s a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide with autofocus, and a 50MP periscope telephoto offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 7x lossless zoom.

It’s also the only Android phone that supports 4K@120fps Dolby Vision recording, complete with LOG format support and real-time LUT previews, giving creators far more flexibility when editing.

Running on OxygenOS 16, the OnePlus 15 introduces a suite of AI tools under the Plus Mind banner. A new Plus Key lets users save anything on screen to a “Mind Space,” where Google’s Gemini AI can pull that data to offer contextual help like building travel itineraries or summarising notes.

Other AI additions include AI Writer for content drafting, AI Recorder with speaker identification, and AI Portrait Glow for intelligent photo enhancements. Every OnePlus 15 also comes with a three-month trial of Google AI Pro that unlocks access to Gemini in Gmail, Docs, and more.

Beyond the AI features, OxygenOS 16 adds Parallel Processing 2.0 for smoother app switching and Dual App Control, which lets you use two apps side-by-side.

The OnePlus 15 keeps the brand’s signature style but sharpens it further. It’s built using LIPO technology for slimmer 1.15mm bezels, and its flat frame with rounded corners provides balanced weight and improved in-hand comfort.

Available in Infinite Black, Sand Storm, and Ultra Violet, the device is also built to last — carrying IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, making it one of the most rugged flagships yet, resistant to dust, water immersion, and even high-pressure jets.

The OnePlus 15 starts at £849 for the 12GB/256GB model, or £979 for the 16GB/512GB variant, currently discounted to £879 until December 12 on the OnePlus website. Buyers can also choose a free accessory worth up to €349, including options like the OnePlus Watch 3 or Buds Pro 3.

The first 100 buyers will also get a free DJI Osmo Mobile 7 gimbal. A special pop-up event will take place in London on November 17, giving fans a closer look at OnePlus’ new ecosystem.
