Honor’s 500 series is making its first appearance in China with pre-orders now open and a design that leans into clean lines and flat sides.
Both the Honor 500 and 500 Pro show a flat display with a centred hole punch and slim bezels, keeping the front clean and modern. Around the back, you get a horizontal camera bar that instantly evokes the iPhone Air look, only here it holds more than a single sensor.
The standard Honor 500 features two large camera sensors inside that horizontal bar, with two smaller cutouts beside them for a third camera and the LED flash. The Pro version goes further with three modules that appear to house a total of four cameras, signalling a step up in imaging versatility.
Both models also show a fresh button placed just below the power key, which is expected to be customizable for quick actions.
Honor is keeping the shapes simple with flat glass and a neat metal frame, so the phones should feel comfortable in the hand and easy to use. The camera bar stretches across the back to balance the look, and the hole punch keeps the display uninterrupted for video, games, and reading.
Storage and memory combos cover a wide range, since the Honor 500 comes in 12GB with 256GB, 12GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 512GB. The Honor 500 Pro introduces an additional tier with 16GB and 1TB storage options for those who require more space for photos and apps.
And for the colours, both phones share the same palette, featuring Moonlight Silver, Obsidian Black, Starlight Powder, and Aquamarine, which offers a mix of brighter finishes and more classic tones across the range.
Honor hasn’t confirmed the exact on-sale date yet, but says the series will debut in China in the coming weeks, with pre-orders now open in the region.
