Apple’s annual Black Friday shopping event has officially kicked off, running from 28 November to 1 December, and, as always, the deal comes in the form of Apple Gift Cards rather than direct price cuts.
Still, if you’re already eyeing an upgrade, this year’s promo offers some of the most generous credits Apple has handed out. If you’re after more direct discounts on Apple tech, keep an eye on our Black Friday 2025 Deals live blog, where our deals experts will be hunting down all the best savings.
The headline offer is up to £200 in Apple Gift Cards when buying select Macs, including MacBook Pro models with M4 Pro or M4 Max chips, the MacBook Air, iMac and Mac mini.
The iPhone 16 and 16e come with up to £60, while iPad buyers can get as much as £80 back when purchasing the iPad Air, the newest iPad (A16), or the iPad mini.
Apple Watch buyers aren’t left out either – the Series 11 and SE 3 both qualify for a £40 gift card. The same maximum value applies to HomePod, Apple TV 4K and a selection of Beats products, while AirPods Max, AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 earn up to £60. Accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil Pro come with a £20 credit.
As usual, this promotion is available only through Apple directly, either online or in-store, and cannot be combined with education pricing, business discounts or the Employee Purchase Plan. Purchases made through financing also don’t qualify. Stock and gift card availability may vary, so it’s worth acting quickly if you’re planning to buy during the four-day window.
Apple is also highlighting its trade-in programme during the event. Depending on the device you hand in, and its condition, you could receive additional credit or an Apple Gift Card to lower the cost of a new product. Just note that trade-in values vary significantly and certain devices may not be eligible.
If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to upgrade your iPhone, Mac or iPad, this is likely the best Apple-direct offer you’ll see until next year. Although we’ll likely see better savings as the week goes on.
