Apple Arcade has its December lineup set, and it includes a major new addition: SpongeBob Patty Pursuit 2.
The sequel lands on December 4 as an Apple Arcade exclusive, alongside new releases like PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers Plus, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Plus, and Glassbreakers Champions of Moss.
According to Apple, Patty Pursuit 2 has SpongeBob teaming up with Plankton to try to fix the chaos in Bikini Bottom. Their quest takes them from the Krusty Krab’s missing fry station to Plankton’s lost inventions, and ultimately to the villain pulling the strings.
As you explore places like Dead Eye Gulch and Goo Lagoon, you can switch between SpongeBob and Plankton or play local co-op with friends and family, taking on puzzles and oddball bosses along the way.
The rest of the lineup adds a mix of new games for the holidays, starting with Glassbreakers Champions of Moss on Apple Vision Pro on November 13. On December 4, PowerWash Simulator joins Apple Arcade with touch and gyroscope controls so you can spray away grime on your phone.
The catalogue is also getting popular packs like the SpongeBob SquarePants pack and extra jobs, with more content planned later at no extra cost. Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition arrives the same day on mobile, with all updates and paid packs, plus exclusive follower forms, decorations, and outfits.
Alongside the new arrivals, some of the service’s most popular titles are getting updates as well.
Sneaky Sasquatch now has a full farming town, so you can visit Grandma’s farm, hop on a tractor, and plant nine kinds of crops to earn some extra in-game cash.
Apple Arcade costs $6.99 per month with a one-month free trial, while buyers of a new iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Apple TV get three months free. You can also access Arcade through Apple One with Individual, Family, or Premier plans, each of which includes a one-month trial.
Arcade Originals work across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro, while App Store Greats are available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro.
Also, one subscription can be shared with up to six people, and there are more than 200 games in the catalogue, although what you see can change depending on your device and region.
