Avoid the impulse to spend at the higher-end of the wearable chain as Fitbit’s own smartwatch is now an absolute steal.
When it comes to fitness tracking, very few companies offer an ecosystem that’s quite as accessible as Fitbit’s. While Fitbit devices tend to be a bit cheaper in price compared to most smartwatches, thanks to the ongoing Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale, you can now pick up the company’s wares for even less.
With that in mind, one of the best buys right now is the 27% discount on the Fitbit Versa 4 which brings the wearable down to just £129.99 from £179. Given that even the cheapest Apple Watch starts at £90 more than this, the Versa 4 is a much better value buy for anyone wanting to keep tabs on their fitness without spending a fortune.

Take it from someone who reviews countless smartwatches for a living, as much as I love the sleep tracking offered by Huawei, and the running data provided by Garmin, no other brand can match Fitbit when it comes to delivering an accessible ecosystem that’s aimed at folks who are just starting out on their fitness journey.
Because Fitbit tracks your effort over the course of a week instead of a day, you’re given more freedom to get your workouts in at a time that actually works around your schedule. If you have a particularly busy day that makes going to the gym practically impossible, then you have a chance to make it up either the following day or at the weekend.
It’s a simple system but one that I find to be very effective, and it’s arguably shown off in its best light on the Versa 4. With a larger screen than the Fitbit Charge 6, the Versa 4 makes it easier to read your workout metrics in a pitch, and the battery life of up to six-days is the type of longevity that Apple and Samsung users could only dream of.
Sleep tracking is particularly great here as well, with our review detailing: “you’re getting a breakdown of sleep stages, sleep scores, which felt like reliable insights into that sleep time on the whole. You can also track heart rate, temperature and SpO2, which can be useful to give you a sense of how your body might be feeling.”
There were already plenty of reasons to love the Fitbit Versa 4, but they’re only heightened when you can pick up the device for such a low cost.
